I have paired it with a beautiful collection of recycled glass beads and krobo beads hand painted by African artisans, as well as some fringed cords with numerous brass beads which gives it a striking and vibrant look. The clasp is silver plated zamak and hypoallergenic.

❀ Krobo beads: These originate from Ghana. Their production process begins with the sorting of crystal and glass bottles by color, which are then fragmented and pulverized. This yields the base material for creating the beads. The resultant powder is fired in ovens inside clay molds, causing the glass to melt. Finally, they are polished and, depending on the type of bead, hand-painted using ceramic dyes.

Generally, they may exhibit imperfections such as asymmetries, cracks, and so on, which are inherent to their manufacturing process.
