Long golden African necklace Gurunsi

❀ This wonderful long golden African necklace is quite the ethnic and bohemian style statement. It is made with a beautiful golden African bronze (brass) pendant from the Ashanti culture of Ghana and made using the ancient lost wax technique. Its geometric decoration with concentric circles takes us to the African culture and art. The different beads of various colors are made with recycled glass by artisans in Africa. In the rings at the lower end of the pendant I have placed leather cords adorned with recycled glass beads and brass beads. The clasp is made of silver-plated zamak.

🤲 Recycled glass beads are made using traditional craft techniques. In general, they usually contain imperfections such as asymmetries, cracks etc. derived from their own manufacturing process, which makes them even more beautiful.
